Amazon Affiliate – Progress from 2019 to 2020

OK, it’s time to give an update on Amazon Associates. In 2019, I was really just starting out with Amazon Associates. After a slow start in the early part of the year, things picked up and with a strong month in December, the final total was 74 ordered items to a value of £2,596.73 and a commission of £146.49. Average order value came in at £35.10. Calculating this income monthly, it’s £12.21 a month. Alright, that doesn’t sound great, but it was just the start. Latest Affiliate Earnings Report

I often struggle with the question of whether I should publish my income or not. Something in me still thought that it was  bragging, but I now realise it’s important to show that the systems i’m writing about actually work and that I’m actually taking part and practising what I preach. Amazon Affiliate Report – December 2019

The Amazon effort rumbled into December in the lucrative gap between Black Friday and Christmas. I was expecting the income to continue to rise in this period and thankfully I was proved right. I hadn’t introduced any more monetised sites, so it was still the Durham Weather site selling weather stations that was my main source of fees.
