26 Income and High Ticket Ideas for 2021 with Amazon Affiliates

I said i’d keep you all up to date with affiliate income and now is a great time to show you how things are going with Amazon. As is usual, people have been ordering from my affiliate store on my little weather website. Here’s a screenshot of the items that have been ordered so far this year. What do you notice about the items? Well, you’ll see that there are the weather products i’m promoting from this particular website in there, but there’s also lots of other stuff too. Stuff that I don’t even promote! This is a big surprise … Read The Full Post

The two best types of products to promote to make money online

Although all kinds of affiliate marketing will make you money, some products are better than others to promote. Most people start by selling physical Amazon products and earn a commission from them, but although Amazon hosts the biggest affiliate system on the planet, the level of commission Amazon pays isn’t that impressive. In fact things like electronics only pay 3%, so choosing that as a niche will force you to sell high ticket items. Not impossible, but there’s lots of competition.   The two types of products that I want to promote in 2019 (and suggest you do the same … Read The Full Post

Amazon Affiliate – Progress from 2019 to 2020

OK, it’s time to give an update on Amazon Associates. In 2019, I was really just starting out with Amazon Associates. After a slow start in the early part of the year, things picked up and with a strong month in December, the final total was 74 ordered items to a value of £2,596.73 and a commission of £146.49. Average order value came in at £35.10. Calculating this income monthly, it’s £12.21 a month. Alright, that doesn’t sound great, but it was just the start. Here’s the summary in graphical form for 2019. Zip forward a little to the end … Read The Full Post

Just a quick post about a niche that some marketers may find taboo. Yes folks, it’s the ‘adult’ niche. The coy one. The embarassing one. It’ll probably make your eyes water, but there comes a time in every affiliate marketers life when they have to consider whether or not to promote products of an adult nature for real. Like it or not, sex sells. There are legitimate websites providing things like adult toys and … Read The Full Post

Amazon Affiliate Report – December 2019

The Amazon effort rumbled into December in the lucrative gap between Black Friday and Christmas. I was expecting the income to continue to rise in this period and thankfully I was proved right. I hadn’t introduced any more monetised sites, so it was still the Durham Weather site selling weather stations that was my main source of fees. Comparing things to November 2019 : Nov 2019 Clicks 161 Shipped Items 13 Conversion 9.94% Revenue £318.97 Fees £20.20 Dec 2019 Clicks 127 Shipped Items 25 Conversion 17.32% Revenue £689.34 Fees £41.23 Less clicks, but better conversion rate and double the Fees … Read The Full Post

Amazon Affiliate Income Report – November 2019

As I’ve started to step up my efforts with the Amazon Affiliate program, i’ll be publishing a report here every month to show how my affiliate income is growing (or not). Amazon’s own reporting package is very good at illustrating the way things are going, so i’ll just screenshot from there to let you all see. My use of Amazon Associates is limited on this particular site to books about Property Investment. My main outlet at the moment is with my site at Durham Weather where I mainly sell Weather Stations and Meteorological stuff, and a new one, Fjallravenclothing.com (this is … Read The Full Post
